Himalayan 450, Himalayan 411, Scram 440 and Xpulse are popular choices for Spiti because they are better suited to long riding days and changing mountain terrain. The right bike also depends on your riding experience, height, comfort and whether you are riding solo or with a pillion.

We generally recommend entering Spiti through Shimla and Kinnaur. The altitude increases more gradually on this side, making it a better route for acclimatization before reaching the higher areas around Kaza.
Starting through Shimla allows you to gain altitude progressively while travelling through Narkanda, Kinnaur, Kalpa and Nako before reaching the higher regions of Spiti. This is why we generally prefer the Shimla-side approach for better acclimatization.
We understand that a bike being used for Spiti needs more preparation than a motorcycle being rented for a normal city ride. Our focus is on keeping bikes ready for long-distance Himalayan journeys and Spiti's changing roads.
You can plan your Spiti rental starting from Shimla, Solan or Chandigarh depending on your arrival point and overall travel plan.
Advance booking is recommended, especially if you want a particular model such as the Himalayan 450 or if you're travelling during the main Spiti riding season. Availability depends on your dates and motorcycle preference.
