HIMALAYAN TRAVEL

Tours, Routes & Itinerary Changes

Travel in Spiti Valley and other Himalayan regions is influenced by terrain, altitude, weather and road conditions. Flexibility is an important part of mountain travel.

  • Published itineraries are intended as planned travel schedules and may require modification due to weather, snowfall, landslides, road closures, traffic restrictions, local regulations or safety concerns.

  • Spiti Riders may reasonably change the route, overnight location, sightseeing plan or timing when required for operational or safety reasons.

  • Temporary closure of a sightseeing location, mountain pass or road does not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire trip.

  • Travel times shown in itineraries are approximate and may vary substantially in Himalayan conditions.

WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS

Spiti Riders cannot guarantee specific weather, snowfall, road opening dates or access to every sightseeing location.

05
UNEXPECTED EVENTS

Delays & Additional Expenses

  • Additional accommodation, meals, transport, towing, recovery or other expenses arising from weather, road closures or circumstances outside the confirmed package may be payable separately.

  • Spiti Riders will make reasonable efforts to assist travellers when disruptions occur, but cannot guarantee that additional services will be available at the originally booked rate.

  • Travellers should allow sufficient flexibility around onward flights, trains and other time-sensitive travel arrangements when travelling in remote Himalayan regions.
